A Mountain Quiltfest set for March 15-19

Quilt lovers can register now for the 22nd Annual A Mountain Quiltfest, set for March 15-19 at the LeConte Center at Pigeon Forge.

Quilters will compete in 20 categories for more than $22,000 in cash and prizes.

The show is open to everyone, from quilters who are beginners to those who are experienced.

Guests are also welcome to just come and admire the variety of quilts from all over the country.

Categories include Large Professional; Small Professional; Large Hand Quilted; Small Hand Quilted; Large Pieced; Medium Pieced; Small Pieced; Large Applique; Small Applique; Large Mixed Techniques; Small Mixed Techniques; Art/Innovative; Extra Large Quilted By Another; Large Quilted By Another; Medium Quilted By Another; Small Quilted By Another; Youth (ages 17 and under); Large Themed Quilt; Small Themed Quilt; and Embroidery.

Class instructors include Bobbie Bergquist, Carol Britt, Laurie Brobst, Patti Carey, Anita Chaisty, Pepper Cory, Linda Crouch-McCreadie, Ann Drothler, Bonnie Goolsby, Anita Grossman-Solomon, Lynne Hagmeier, Linda Hahn, Klaudeen Hansen, Harriet Hargrave, Cindy Kelley, Rami Kim, Nancy Prince, Dianne Springer and Delores Storm.
