Saddle Up! Rides into Pigeon Forge Feb. 17-21
Hey, cowboys and cowgirls – one of your very favorite events in the Smokies is just around the corner.
The 16th Annual Saddle Up! is set for Wednesday, Feb. 17 through Sunday, Feb. 21 in Pigeon Forge. Activities will be held at LeConte Event Center at Pigeon Forge, Clabough’s Campground, Pottery House Cafe and Grille at Old Mill Square, Blairs Valley Ranch and Mama’s Farmhouse.
Festivities will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday with Patchwork of the Prairie: A Quilt Show (free); Cowboy Fun at Blairs Valley Ranch in Wears Valley (free); and a Saddle Up! sampler (free).
Thursday activities will be from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. They include Cowbucks Cafe; Saddle Up! sampler; Western Dance Class; an Intimate Evening Dinner with Kent Rollins; Intimate Evening Dinner Concert with R.W. Hampton; and an Intimate Evening Concert with Dave Stamey and Andy Nelson.
From 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, the schedule includes a Cooking Demonstration with Kent and Shannon Rollins; Stories and Strings; and two Saddle Up! concerts.
From 9 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, there will be a free Buckaroo Roundup; Chuck Wagon Cookoff and Lunch; Saddle Up! Concert; and Cowboy Dance.
Sunday events are from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with a Chuck Wagon Breakfast and Cowboy Church.
This year’s entertainers include Andy Nelson, Brigid Reedy, Chris Isaacs, Dave Stamey, Jay Snider, Kent Rollins, R.W. Hampton, Sourdough Slim, T. Scott Wilburn and the Shut Up ‘N Playboys, Western Flyers and Yvone Hollenbeck.
